At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Our foyer is open today 10am–5pm . Our exhibitions are always free.

Dead Ringer Interactive Education Tours

Dead Ringer Interactive Education Tours

Spark_Lab provides students and teachers with the opportunity to engage in interactive education tours of PICA’s latest exhibitions.
Tours of Dead Ringer will give students the chance to explore the extremes of portraiture through film, painting, photography, installation and virtual worlds. This group exhibition features artists whose work discusses identity crisis in the post-internet age, with a focus on doppelgangers, ghosts, quantum entanglement and parallel worlds. Students will be encouraged to discuss these contemporary cultural themes.
