At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

We are closed today. Our exhibitions are always free.

Audible Edge: iMprov Workshop

Audible Edge: iMprov Workshop

Join us for a participatory workshop featuring the German-based duo Superimpose (Matthias Müller and Christian Marien) as guest directors. Bring your instrument and collaborate with Superimpose and a host of local improvisers on developing skills for creating music spontaneously together.
All ages, levels of experience and degrees of involvement in experimental music are welcome. This is a place to meet others who are enthusiastic about exploring and creating spontaneously with sound.
Attendance is free and open but please RSVP to josten@tura.com.au if you intend to be there or to make any enquiries.
Co-presented by Tura New Music and Tone List as part of Tura New Music’s iMprov program within Audible Edge. See bit.ly/audibleedge for more details on the full program.
