At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Our foyer is open today 10am–5pm . Our exhibitions are always free.

Lumasol

Lumasol

Europe’s quirkiest new media producers PIPS:lab invite Western Australia’s bright young things to learn how to paint with light, using ‘lumasol’ technology. These four oddball artists will amaze you with their original mash-up of theatre, music, film and photography, creating an awe-inspiring new media artwork.

PIPS:lab encourages you to be the artist, using sound, lighting and computer equipment to capture, construct and create right in front of your eyes. This ingenious audiovisual roller coaster ride is proof that with art, anything is possible.
