At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

We are closed today. Our exhibitions are always free.

News Haiku from the West

News Haiku from the West

During her visit to Perth, Barbara will be making haiku from five and seven syllable extracts she finds freshly printed in Western Australia’s city and regional newspapers. She will be combining them into haiku and then printing these onto T-shirts in a public event at PICA at the end of the week. You are welcome to bring your favourite plain cotton T-shirt and wear your artist’s print home!
