At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Our foyer is open today 10am–5pm . Our exhibitions are always free.

Open Studio

Open Studio

Open Studios is PICA’s most popular series of artist talks that connect you personally with our current studio residents and provide invaluable insight into the artists’ processes and practices.
Join us for an intimate discussion with resident artists, Rebecca Rigs-Bennett (WA), Drew Pettifer (VIC) and Christoven Tan (SGP). Rebecca is exploring an intimate sensory performance piece about dreams, Drew explores the shipwreck of Dutch East India Company’s Zeewijk and Christoven is developing a multi layered performance that expands the experience of listening.
This event will be facilitated by PICA’s own Senior Curator, Eugenio Viola. Come and explore PICA behind closed doors.
Limited spots. Please RSVP below.
If you would also like to attend Aperitivo (end of year drinks) with Eugenio Viola afterwards, please head here to RSVP.
