At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Weekend Workshop | 3D & 2D Immersive Dreamscapes

Embrace your imagination with Pip & Pop Assistant, artist and flower enthusiast Alina Tang in these children’s and adult’s workshops inspired by Pip & Pop’s When Happiness Ruled.

Children and adults will learn to create a small-scale Pip & Pop inspired paradise dreamscape, brimming with colour, objects and immersive scenes. The 3D dreamscapes can then become a 2D artwork through photography and prints.

You will learn how to construct and layer your own fantasy world through the use of materials including mirrors, toys, beads, flowers and Styrofoam.

Create the world you’ve always dreamed of!

NB: Materials are supplied, however feel free to bring small toys to include in your art piece.
