NAVA Code endorsed by National Cultural Policy. What does that mean?

The government’s endorsement of NAVA’s Code is a win for our sector – but what does it mean?

Join PICA and Executive Director of the National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA) Penelope Benton for a discussion for artists and arts workers about the Code of Practice and Revive to unpack the gaps and opportunities for the visual arts.

Recently endorsed by the Australian Government as part of the new National Cultural Policy – Revive: a place for every story, a story for every place, NAVA’s Code of Practice for Visual Arts, Craft and Design sets out good practice approaches to working relationships, ethical standards of access and inclusion, and payment rates for artists and arts workers.
