PICA’s Resident Artist Program offers opportunities for artists, companies, curators and producers to push the boundaries of their genre in the development of work which is conceptually, formally or technologically ambitious and which contributes to current cultural or art form developments.
In 2023 PICA will offer nine creative developments, from periods ranging two to four weeks in the PICA Performance Space and studios. PICA’s creative development program provides a flexible space for research, dialogue, experimentation and the development of new work and projects. Artists have the opportunity to present their work to the public and industry during a work-in-progress showing event.
