At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Our foyer is open today 10am–5pm . Our exhibitions are always free.

Collaboration & Collage
Long standing collaborations with musician Philip Miller, film maker Catherine Meyburgh, and set designer Sabine Theunissen are central to William Kentridge’s creative process. Collage, animation and film are equally important in The Refusal of Time as well as in his opera productions of The Magic Flute, The Nose, and in the forthcoming Lulu. Explore the seemingly irrepressible multi-sensory talent of William Kentridge with UWA Adjunct Associate Professor Gary Dufour.
