At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

We are closed today. Our exhibitions are always free.

PICA Edition 2013

PICA Edition 2013

PICA is proud to present the inaugural PICA Edition, a specially commissioned artwork by celebrated WA artist Rebecca Baumann.
The 2013 PICA Edition, a new iteration of Baumann’s renowned Colour Clock series, has been created exclusively for PICA. This unique edition, Colour Clock (CMYK), features a vibrant colour scale that references colour reproduction and printing processes and is the first occasion that the artist has created an edition of individual colour clocks. This particular version can be wall mounted or placed on a desk, shelf or table.
Rebecca Baumann is one of Perth’s success stories having shown at PICA in the group show Rounds in 2010 and in First Amongst Equals in 2012, as well as in nationally esteemed exhibitions such as Primavera 2011 at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney; NEW11 at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Melbourne; and more recently in Contemporary Australia: Women at the Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane.
The inaugural PICA Edition is your chance to own a piece of Australian art history, created by one of the country’s most highly sought after artists. Colour Clock (CMYK) has been created as a limited edition of 30 and is now available for purchase today!
