School Holiday Workshops: Toys for Tomorrow – Sculpture-making Workshops

Tues 5 & Thurs 7 July, 10.30am - 1pm & 1.30pm - 4pm

Taking inspiration from PICA’s Hatched: National Graduate Show 2016 and her own visual art practice, join Australian artist Olga Cironis to make a precious creature that represents “you”. Techniques such as stitching, tying, weaving and wrapping will be used to up-cycle everyday objects of choice.

Olga is an established contemporary artist who has exhibited internationally. She recently won the $10,000 scholarship prize at the Cottesloe Sculptures by the Sea 2016 for her hair weaving. She is also a community artist and educator.
