At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Our foyer is open today 10am–5pm . Our exhibitions are always free.

Weekend Workshops for 7 - 12 year olds: Pet Portraits with Elizabeth Marruffo

Make a magical portrait of your pet with local artist Elizabeth Maruffo. Using needle-felting techniques you will learn how to create a tiny, soft model of your pet for you to keep forever. This miniature would also make a perfect Christmas present for someone in your family or an elegant decoration for your tree. Please bring along a photo of your family’s pet, a pet you used to have or a favourite animal friend.

This workshop is also available for school group bookings during term 4.
