At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Galleries are closed until 7 February. Our exhibitions are always free.

Cross-Hatchings: Perth-New Delhi Residency

During his residency at Khoj, David Brazier will explore the urban fabric of Khirki Extension, the vibrant neighborhood where Khoj is based. Known for its skyline of modified, layered and repurposed structures, Khirki embodies a rich tapestry of social and cultural complexity. Drawing inspiration from this environment, David will create a site-specific installation that responds to the area’s diverse and evolving character.

This residency is part of Cross-Hatchings, a collaborative initiative between PICA and Khoj. The program provides opportunities to explore new cultural contexts, foster global connections, and present innovative projects to diverse audiences worldwide.
