Questions Without Notice

Questions Without Notice is a work in progress; a response to a question. What happens when the body is placed in an unexpected, uncomfortable circumstance? Over the course of the season, up to eight performers negotiate their way through a structured improvisation. They video themselves, interview each other, come together in mutual consent and separate in disagreement. Each decision has the potential to send the work in a new direction. Each day will consist of rehearsal, planning and improvisation. Audience members will be able to view the nuts and bolts of constructing a dance piece with improvisations scheduled throughout the day. This is a great opportunity to see the ins and outs of producing an original dance work.
