PICA After Hours: Opening Night

Celebrate the opening of the Djeran-Makuru season at PICA!

Join us on Friday 17 April, 6–9pm, for PICA After Hours—our reimagined opening night program—featuring a special set from JANGA in the PICA carpark followed by a live performance from Kallum Mungulu and his band.

This season centres the power of First Nations art and storytelling with All That Country Holds alongside the 2026 Revealed: New and Emerging WA Aboriginal Artists exhibition, which returns to PICA under the custodianship of the Aboriginal Art Centre Hub of WA (AACHWA). Jointly, these exhibitions showcase the work of over 100 Aboriginal artists from across Western Australia.

This season invites you to experience the work of new and emerging Aboriginal artists in Revealed, alongside established Kimberley artists in All That Country Holds. With artworks available to purchase, PICA takes no commission, meaning all sales go directly to the artists and communities.
