At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Hatched Tactile Tour

Hatched Tactile Tour

As part of PICA’s Hatched Open Day, PICA and DADAA present a free tactile tour of the Hatched: National Graduate Show 2023 exhibition for blind or low vision people.

Hatched presents a dynamic selection of emerging artists recently graduated from art schools across Australia. Nominated by their teachers and selected by a panel of artists and curators, Hatched represents the diverse and compelling practices of the next generation of artistic voices. As a cornerstone of PICA’s program and the only national graduate exhibition in the country, over its three decades of history Hatched has presented the work of Australia’s leading contemporary artists, providing a vital platform for early-career artists.
