Curator
We are looking for a Curator to join the PICA team.
The Curator supports PICA’s strategic priorities by developing and delivering a visual arts program that reflects its values. This is a key leadership position within the organisation, working closely with the Director and programming team to further the depth, breadth and impact of PICA’s creative program. The Curator is responsible for supporting and advocating for artists, delivering meaningful art experiences and attracting ongoing and new audiences. PICA’s Curator works closely with artists, galleries and the broader contemporary art sector in Australia and internationally.

PICA’s 2025 Studio Program
Applications are now open for PICA’s 2025 Studio Program.
Explore our Quick Response, Hyper Local and International Studio Exchange programs and the new Regional Residency, which provides dedicated space for a regional WA artist in Boorloo (Perth). In 2025, PICA also invites practitioners with a writing, research, or curatorial practice to apply for a Quick Response Residency in Studio 0.
Participation in the Studio Program at PICA is open to artists of all disciplines. Applications from First Nations artists, culturally and linguistically diverse artists and artists who identify as D/deaf or disabled are welcomed and encouraged.
Applications are due Monday 14 October at 5pm (AWST)
