Wet Dreams: An Illustrated Lecture

Derek Kreckler returns to Perth to present an in-depth lecture about his life’s work. Born in Sydney in 1952, Kreckler has consistently created challenging imagery at the critical edge of Australian art history. He is currently Associate Professor at the University of Wollongong and has taught at various schools of art since 1982 including Sydney College of the Arts and the University of New South Wales’ College of Fine Arts (now UNSW Art and Design). He was previously Senior Lecturer at the WA Academy of Performing Arts, Edith Cowan University, where he taught sound design for theatre and film.
