Christoven Tan is a Singaporean contemporary composer and musician whose practice seeks to redefine classical viola performance and the image of the Artist. He performs in solos, ensembles and orchestras in public and commercial galleries and artist-run spaces in London, Lithuania, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Spain and Singapore.
Tan will develop a multi-layered performance that expands the experience of listening and investigates ways sound can intersect with vision and materiality through the use of archival footage and graphic notation.
