At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Galleries are open today, 10am–5pm. Our exhibitions are always free.

Crazy Sound Making Workshop

Crazy Sound Making Workshop

Work with artist and coder Steve Berrick to create and play with invisible energies in a workshop inspired by current exhibition Energies: Haines & Hinterding. Using custom built microphones, investigate the electromagnetic signatures of different objects. Bring along toys or electronic devices to create unusual and crazy new sounds that will blow your mind.
This workshop is suitable for ages 7 – 12yrs.
Please bring a selection of objects e.g. toys, stationery, kitchen items (not sharp).
For more information and bookings, contact PICA Reception via info@pica.org.au or 9228 6300. You can also turn up on the day! Tickets are $25.
