Emily Hornum is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Fremantle, Western Australia. Hornum works across a range of media including analogue photography, video and installation art.
Her current project The world is full of hams is a video work created from 90s advertisements and TV footage from found VHS tapes.

She has exhibited her work in solo and group shows nationally and internationally and finalised for numerous art awards including South Perth Emerging Art Award 2018 and 2017, Fremantle Print Award 2018 and 2016 and selected for Community Invitational Art Award (CIAA) City of Joondalup 2018.

She has completed residencies at Curtin University, Fremantle Arts Centre and Spectrum Project Space and received The City of Perth Light Locker public art commission. In 2017 she was appointed on the board for Perth Centre for Photography and was an invited judge for PCP’s IRIS Award. For 2018 so far, Hornum has three solo exhibitions in Fremantle, Melbourne and Bunbury.
