At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Galleries are open today, 10am–5pm. Our exhibitions are always free.

Need a helping hand? Got a project you can’t quite seem to start? The Bureau for the Production of (Art) Works can assist you. Establishing itself for a short time upstairs at PICA in Studio One, The Bureau, manned by Perth artist Emma Buswell, invites you to submit an application for artistic assistance. In keeping with Emma’s love of facilitating encounters between works and individuals that open up robust discussions, these one-on-one sessions with the artist will get you making and talking about art!
