Hatched Opening Night Party 🌼

Hatched Opening Night Party 🌼

In celebration of one of our most anticipated exhibitions of the year, Hatched: National Graduate Show 2023, we are throwing an opening party to welcome 26 of Australia’s most exciting art school graduates from across the nation.

The only national graduate exhibition in the country, Hatched provides a vital platform for early-career artists. Continuing on from last year, PICA & The University of WA will announce the three recipients of the Schenberg Awards, including the $35,000 Dr Harold Schenberg Art Fellowship – the largest award for an emerging artist in Australia.

With live music from local bands Smol Fish and Gia Como plus a DJ set from Rok Riley, food trucks, a live broadcast by RTRFM and merch by local designer Hannah Coakley, grab a drink from PICA Bar’s pop-up bar and toast the next generation of artistic voices.

This event is made possible by the support of the State Government’s CBD Revitalisation Grant Program and our Community Engagement Partner City of Perth.
