At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

We are closed today. Our exhibitions are always free.

Mark Haslam (WA)

Mark Haslam’s practice is a kaleidoscopic blend of technical production, direction and design, and focuses on exploring human constructs in genre-busting, media-infused contemporary performance. While undertaking a Quick Response residency at PICA, Haslam will be working on FAKE, a performance/installation/rave that explores the impact of digital communication on our perception of reality and truth in an interconnected world.

About the Artist
