At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

We are open 10am–5pm. Our exhibitions are always free.

Join us for the HATCHED 2015 opening night party!

Curated by Nadia Johnson, HATCHED 2015 is a celebration of the most talented graduate artists from 22 of Australia’s best art schools and universities. Now in its 24th year, this annual survey exhibition tracks the changing trends and developments in emerging contemporary art by providing an annual snapshot of the country’s aesthetic mood. It has become a vital compass in identifying a new generation of emerging artists.

To be opened by Lisa Slade
Assistant Director Artistic Programs, Art Gallery of South Australia
