At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

We are open 10am–5pm. Our exhibitions are always free.

PICA After Dark

PICA After Dark

PICA After Dark Returns!

In celebration of the WA Museum – Boola Bardip (Many Stories) opening, we are extending our opening hours for three nights over three weeks – every Thursday to Saturday until 5 December.

PICA After Dark provides an opportunity to connect with each other after-hours while exploring our current exhibitions Refracted Reality, Forest of Voices by Olga Cironis and SMASH IT by Brook Andrew. Our friendly gallery guides will lead a half-hour tour at 6pm.

Capture the moment with your friends in our new Selfie Mirror Photobooth in the Reading Room (adjacent to PICABAR) to go into our prize draw!
