At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

We are open 10am–5pm. Our exhibitions are always free.

Self Care in the Arts #2

Self Care in the Arts #2

Sometimes, working in the arts and practicing self-care do not feel synonymous.

This friendly forum aims to equip artists and arts workers with tools to be healthier, happier (maybe?) and a little more hydrated. Even if you don’t work in the arts sector, you are absolutely welcome to attend and participate as you please. Featuring homemade advice from young and emerging local speakers such as Mark Briffa (aka: BoyName), Simone Detourbet, and Samantha Nerida.

This event was produced in collaboration with Zoe Hollyoak from The Cutting Room Floor. Please join us afterwards for a cup of tea.

Presented in collaboration with Propel Youth Arts WA.
