At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

We are closed today. Our exhibitions are always free.

Epilogues After Dark

To celebrate the opening of PICA Salon: Epic Narratives the galleries are staying open late! With a cash bar and an ethereal soundtrack composed by Rachael Dease, enjoy an evening wander through the exhibition of over 100 works by 20 artists and create your own adventure or join an informative tour.

7-8pm The Grand Tour: A Journey with the Artists & Curators

Epic Narratives curators Leigh Robb & Nadia Johnson lead an evening tour through this layered exhibition. This is an opportunity to meet and hear the artists speak about they way their works have embraced the concept of storytelling to articulate the politics of identity and communicate ideas about history, place and travel. They will also be joined by artists Abdul-Rahman Abdullah, Shannon Lyons, Snapcat and Kynan Tan.
