At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Our foyer is open today 10am–5pm . Our exhibitions are always free.

Hatched 2014 Professional Learning

Hatched 2014 Professional Learning

Join us for a tour of Hatched 2014 as we discuss key works and trends in the exhibition with reference to the Visual Arts curriculum for secondary schools. This is an opportunity to network, critique, contemplate and develop original ideas for further innovation in classrooms. The session will feature presentations by three Hatched 2014 artists who will unpack and demonstrate the ideas and processes behind their individual artworks. This is particularly suited to practicing and pre-service teachers and other professional art educators.
