At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

We are open 10am–5pm. Our exhibitions are always free.

Workshops for Schools: Pet Portraits with Elizabeth Marruffo

Workshops for Schools: Pet Portraits with Elizabeth Marruffo

Students are invited to make a magical portrait of their pets with local artist Elizabeth Maruffo. Using needle-felting techniques students will learn how to create a tiny, soft model of their pet to keep forever. This miniature would also make a perfect Christmas present or an elegant decoration for the family tree. Students please bring along a photo of your family’s pet, a pet you used to have or a favourite animal friend.

This workshop is also offered as a special weekend workshop for families on Sat 5 Dec.
