As part of the XR:WA Festival, join us for an afternoon of conversation with a selection of the artists who participated in our XR Bootcamp + Hackathon program. Hear about their experiences learning and working with immersive technologies, including how it challenged and extended their arts practice into the future.

About the Artist

Immerse Australia

Immerse Australia is a national not-for-profit member association for business, research and education organisations and individuals that are interested in immersive technologies. Our wide-ranging membership includes software, hardware, products and services related to Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), eXtended Reality (XR), 360 video and immersive technologies. We are committed to representing, promoting and supporting the immersive technology sector in Australia.

Natalie Marinho – Lead Producer, Voyant Augmented Reality

Natalie is a Designer, Producer and Artist working in Augmented Reality (AR). She is Founder of Voyant Augmented Reality, a Fremantle-based studio creating bespoke AR experiences for social impact projects and creative industries. She believes that immersive technologies represents the next major shift in human computer interaction and is particularly interested in how AR can be used to enhance user experience and develop new modes of political and artistic expression. With a diverse background including digital content, gamification, and international aid, Natalie is a regular speaker and panelist on technology, games and augmented reality. She is Chair of Immerse Australia and a committee member of DesignFreo. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in International Relations.
