At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Our foyer is open today 10am–5pm. Our exhibitions are always free.

PICA presents up to ten exhibitions each year across four seasons. Our exhibitions showcase the work of artists from Western Australia and across the globe, offering a range of narratives and perspectives.

PICA works with artists at all stages of their careers, from recent graduates to presenting first-time solo exhibitions and surveys of established figures. As a site for the production of new artworks, PICA supports artists to develop, produce and present work driven by critical issues of our time. At PICA artists are encouraged to take risks, explore new and emerging art forms, and experiment with ideas, materials and approaches.
