A heady taste of diversity suffuses the original strivings of the Academy’s young choreographers. These dance pieces mirror the concerns and optimism of young people ‘taking off’ in life. Although the works touch on pain and longing, the dancers invariably break through with vigour and daring that is their special privilege.
