At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Galleries are open today, 10am–5pm. Our exhibitions are always free.

Derek Kreckler & Consuelo Cavaniglia Interactive Education Tours

Spark_Lab provides students and teachers with the opportunity to engage in interactive education tours of PICA’s latest exhibitions.
Tours of Derek Kreckler: Accident & Process and Consuelo Cavaniglia: In the distance a pool of light was not what it seemed will give students the chance to explore the variety of mediums used by the artists including sculpture, photography, film and light. These interactive tours will encourage discussions around the themes in the two exhibitions which include national identity, the Australian landscape, architecture and illusions.
