At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Galleries are open today, 10am–5pm. Our exhibitions are always free.

Make Your Own Art Movement Workshops for Schools

Make Your Own Art Movement Workshops for Schools

In response to the variety of works on show in Hatched: National Graduate Show 2015, multi-disciplinary artist Loren Kronemyer and printmaker Danni McGrath combine forces to lead the Make Your Own Art Movement Workshops for Schools this period at PICA.
Exploring the archives of art history to re-invigorate manifesto documents of old, students will work in groups to develop their own self-published manifesto document. This workshop will engage in a playfully spirited contemporary take on group-based declarations of intent and belief.
