At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Galleries are closed today. Our exhibitions are always free.

PICA After Dark

To celebrate the opening of Revealed: New and Emerging Aboriginal Artists and the Djeran–Makuru season at PICA, we invite you to join us this Friday for PICA After Dark: Revealed Opening. Staring at 6pm, hear Alton Walley’s Welcome to Country, followed by a performance by Middar Dance Group. From 7pm the galleries are open, while outside (selected by the Lubly Dae crew to open the Djeran–Makuru season at PICA), Janga will be behind the decks to get the party started! Enjoy a pop-up bar and tacos by our neighbours, Picabar.

Artwork purchases are open from 7pm, with all proceeds going directly to artists and their communities. See you here!
