At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

We are closed today. Our exhibitions are always free.

Self Care in the Arts #1

Self Care in the Arts #1

As part of Mental Health Week, PICA will be hosting an interactive and friendly forum that equips artists and arts administrators with handy tools to look after their mental health.

This free event offers hands-on advice from artists and mentors in our local community including Kelli McCluskey (chief executive artist at pvi collective), Stuart Halusz (who created Black Swan’s Mental Health Awareness Plan), Jen Jamieson (artist and arts therapist) and Shona Erskine (psychologist and choreographer).
