At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Galleries are open today, 10am–5pm. Our exhibitions are always free.

Stop! Don't Blink

Stop! Don't Blink

Explosive and fast paced, landscapes are built, altered, and destroyed live on stage. This new dance theatre work, by Buzz’s Artistic Director Cadi McCarthy, unravels the destruction of our natural and urban environments.
Seen through the eyes of a child, our constantly changing landscape is mirrored by the loss of his playing fields. Collaborator Stormie Mills, a cornerstone of the Perth street art scene, brings his unmistakable style and artwork to this performance. An extraordinary lighting design by Joseph Mercurio and original music by Melbourne based composer Matt Cornell, immerse you in a world of constant change.
At the end of the show, the audience is invited to explore the set.
