At PICA we recognise that we are situated within the unceded lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects and offer our gratitude to Elders past and present, and to those emerging leaders in the community. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the importance of their care and continued connection to culture, community and Country.

Always was, always will be.

Galleries are open today, 10am–5pm. Our exhibitions are always free.

Zilch

Zilch

Presented by WAAPA’s Third Year Dance students, Zilch is a collection of original short dance works that explore a variety of concepts, each with an underlying connection with human experiences. Starting at one end of the spectrum in which works take on a more serious approach such as the reactions and consequences of lies, to the more comedic and character based works that deal with the stereotyping of everyday people.
Each work allows for individual audience interpretation as they draw upon their own life experiences to be able to relate to the attitudes and values being presented and expressed.
